May Day Celebration:  NPP Ashanti Regional Aspiring Chairman Sends Good Messages To Workers 

An aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Odeneho Kwaku Appiah affectionately called COKA/(I CARE), has sent a goodwill message to the workers in the celebration of this year's May Day of the Republic of Ghana.

An aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Odeneho Kwaku Appiah affectionately called COKA/(I CARE), has sent a goodwill message to the workers in the celebration of this year's May Day of the Republic of Ghana.
"I wish a happy workers’ day to you, our gallant workers," he stated adding that the "Workers’ Day has been officially recognized and observed since the first democratic elections in 1994."
According to him, the holiday serves both as a celebration of workers’ rights and as a reminder of the critical role that trade unions, the Communist Party, and other labor organizations played in the fight against Apartheid.
In Ghana, he asserted that "we celebrate the day every May 1, to express gratitude to our cherished workers and worker unions.'
He pointed out that the day is being served as a remembrance day of the good and the vigorous work of our workers, To exhibit their usefulness in the Ghanaian societies and the world as a whole.
Mr. Appiah indicated that many prominent people, including the President of the Republic and his Vice, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia respectively have all expressed gratitude to our workers for their unflinching support to the country’s economy.
"However, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah affectionately called COKA/(I CARE), has sent a Goodwill message to our workers," he stressed.
 
According to the incoming Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, our workers deserve commendation, hence, his message is to applaud them for their enormous services to the country of Ghana.
