The day will begin at 7:30 am with the filing past of the late Jayne Buckman-Owoo's remains at St. Theresa Parish, and it will end at 8:30 am with the funeral mass at the same location.

There will be a private burial after the mass.On Saturday, November 4, 2023, at St Theresa Parish in Kaneshie, next to the Awudome Roundabout, the inky community, members of the creative sector, family, friends, and supporters will gather to say goodbye to Jayne Buckman-Owoo.

After a brief illness on Friday, August 18, 2023, Jayne Buckman-Owoo, a Staff Writer at Graphic Showbiz of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), passed away. Her age was 49.

Following the church service, there will be a gathering at the St. Theresa School in North Kaneshie.

A thanksgiving service honoring Miss Jayne's cherished memories and long legacy will take place at St. Theresa Parish on Sunday, November 5, at 9:30 am. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Jayne Buckman-Owoo, who was fondly called Miss Jayne, devoted her life to the creative industry. She contributed significantly to Graphic Showbiz for more than 20 years, where she penned gripping narratives, covered important occasions, and did in-depth interviews with a number of Ghanaian superstars.

Ms. Jayne was duly recognized in 2021 for her outstanding leadership in the creative arts industry. She received recognition for her efforts and a citation from the Golden Age Creative Arts Awards (GACAA) commemorating her outstanding influence on the creative sector.

Nana Ama McBrown, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Majid Michel, Prince David Osei, Shatta Wale, Lucky Mensah, Reggie Rockstone, Okyeame Kwame, Praye, Kwaade, and a plethora of other celebrities in the entertainment industry are just a few of the celebrities she highlighted.

In addition, she was well-known for hosting shows on TV Africa such Viewers Choice and for appearing in films like as Unfinished Business, Wedlock, Who Killed Okomfo Anokye, When Night Falls, and A Call at Midnight.
