Mother and daughter knocked down by a car at Kasoa Amanfrom

A Mother and daughter have perished in a road accident on Wednesday morning at Kasoa Amanfrom in Ga-South Municipality.
A nose mask seller also sustained serious injury whiles crossing the road from the other side of the road.
According to Twumasi, an eyewitness, the deceased woman whose name is yet to be identified was crossing the road with her baby on her back when a Kia truck loaded with tissue with registration number GE 8107 -11 knocked her down and died at the spot.
According to him, a nose masks seller was also hit by a trotro at the same spot and with multiple injuries sustained she was sent to Amanfrom polyclinic.
Meanwhile, the MTTD Police Commander for Amanfrom Police Station, Mr Obeng Antwi urged the Ministry of Roads and Highway to construct speed ramps at Amanfrom bus stop to regulate the speed of drivers.
