The Spur manager was on course last month as his side cruised unbeaten in the Premier League and landed on top of the table, levelled with the Champions.

He is the fourth this season after Carlo Ancelotti and Nuno Espirito Santo in September and October respectively.

He claimed three straight victories with Spurs in the month, culminating an impressive 2-0 triumph over Manchester City, before drawing at top-four rivals Chelsea to finish November top of the table.

Mourinho saw off competition from Frank Lampard, David Moyes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to claim the accolade attributing the success to his team.

"It says Manager of the Month but for me, it is team of the month or staff of the month," said Mourinho after receiving the award for the fourth time in his career.

"This is about the players, the coaches, my assistant, the sport science guys, the analysts and lots of others."
