New NDC Gov't Will Save Lives Of Indigenes Of Ada Songor Land From Killing & Shooting Over Personal Business Interests—Greater Accra NDC Chairmen Caucus Assure; As They Visit The Family Of Late Agormeda
THE GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL Chairmen Caucus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have expressed their sadness about gruesome murder of the resident of Toflokpo in the Sege Constituency, Mr Korletey Agormeda in renewed feud between the Electrochem Ghana Limited and Ada-Sege residents.

The NDC top shots stated that they were unhappy about continuous reported cases of the attacks of the residents by the thugs of Electrochem.

The NDC officials assured the bereaved family of their unwavering support, and pledged that a future NDC government, under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, will prioritise the welfare of the indigenes and the community over personal business interests.
This assurance was contained in a news item by the NDC captured by Soireenews.com.
The NDC writes that "In a somber mission, the Greater Accra Chairmen Caucus, alongside the indefatigable National Organiser Joseph Yammin, stood in solidarity with Sege Constituency Chairman Enoch Teye Sewornu and Executives.
Together, we visited and offered heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Korletey Agormeda, a victim of the recent tragic incident in Toflokpo, Sege constituency, where the young man was shot and killed.
The heartbreaking backdrop of the ongoing salt mining feud between Songor land residents and Electrochem Ghana Limited  owned by Daniel McKorley (McDan) adds a chilling layer to this unfortunate event
Our gratitude extends to the National Organiser for leading this crucial development.
On August 30, President Akufo-Addo commissioned an ultra-modern salt mining and processing plant at Ada Songor owned by Electrochem Ghana Limited, despite stern opposition and persistent protests from residents of the area.
