Newly Installed Mankrado Ankobeahemaa Of Suhum, Nana Akosua Korang Larbi I Assures To Bring Development

Consolidated Bank worker and 1996 year group old student has been installed as the Queen (MANKRADO ANKOBEAHEMAA) of Suhum in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.

Some industry players have thronged to congratulate Irene Afuakwa as affectionately called as she becomes Nana Akosua Korang Larbi I.

The installation of the 1996 year group old student and Banker was greeted with joy by the people of Suhum as they believe this development marks an end to a long standing chieftaincy related disputes in the area.

They also hoped that the new traditional leader will quickly address salient issues affecting the development of the people of Suhum.

The colourful occasion held at the Palace of the Paramount chief of Suhum Osabarima Ayeh Kofi ll,the women folks sang traditional songs while talking drums where beaten to marked the beginning of a new era for the people of Suhum.

Known in private life as Irene Afuakwa, she is a Banker with  experience under her belt.

The 1996 Old Student of Ghana  senior high school and currently a  worker at Consolidated Bank now bears the stool name Nana Akosua Korang Larbi I.

In an engagement with the media, Nana Akosua Korang Larbi I said she aims to identify strategic interventions that will support, enhance and improve the lives and well being of the people living in Suhum area.

Providing quality education, quality health care delivery, Girl child education in basic needs of every community and that with the support of the community folks we shall provide those basic needs to see to the development of the community at large .

These were the words of the newly installed Suhum Mankrado Ankobeahemaa after she has sent some words of appreciation to the , Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, the Paramount Chief Of Suhum Osabarima Ayeh Kofi II, The Suhum Royal family and the people of Suhum.
