NPP Flagship Programmes Are Sloganisms -Ade Coker Jabs Akufo-Addo
Mr Coker called on the rank-and-file of the NDC to rally behind former President Dramani Mahama to win back the presidential seat in 2024 general election to enable him finish his unfinished projects and programmes.

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, who is seeking for re-election, has berated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for failing to redeem its campaign promises it made to Ghanaians.
The NDC top kingpin described all the flagship programmes of the NPP as sloganisms, saying that they used the programmes to lie and deceive Ghanaians to vote for President Akufo-Addo to win the power and challenged the officials of the NPP to come out to rebut his assertion.
He stressed that all the flagship programmes of the Akufo-Addo led NPP government such as Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Free SHS, “One District, One Factory”, “One Village, One Dam,” Programme for Planting for Food and Jobs are all on the life support.
This, according to him, has attested to the fact that President Akufo-Addo and his NPP government have woefully failed Ghanaians and the current President is unable to run the country properly to expectations of Ghanains.
He pointed out that there are clear envidences to show that the President "cannot even pay monthly allowances to beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps programme which he claimed to have been created as an initiative to address graduate unemployment to solve social problems.
He pointed out that there are highest level of youths unemployment in this country under the current leadership of President Akufo-Addo, adding the President has failed to find solutions to the myriad of challenges the youth face.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com in his office in Accra on Tuesday September 13, 2022 , Mr. Coker stressed that President Akufo-Addo and his followers including the supporters and members of the NPP had lied and deceived Ghanaians to vote them but "when they were voted them into power, Mr Akufo-Addo and his followers have performed poorly which has created current financial and economic crisis in the country.

"If you look at the country now every aspect of Ghanaian’s life has been destroyed by the New Patriotic Party government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because of his mismanagement of the economy,” Mr Coker stated.
The NDC guru cited the soaring prices of water, electrify, transportations, foodstuff, school fees, accommodation, high level of youth unemployment, saying that “we have realised that this country was sinking and going down very fast under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo."
He stressed that; "This country definitely needs someone to salvage us, we someone who has a good economic management record."
He mentioned that there were clear evidences that Ghanaians needed someone like former President Dramani Mahama to win back the presidential seat in the 2024 general election and take Ghanaians from the bad economic management of the Akufo-Addo administration.
He noted that former President Dramani Mahama’s social and infrastructural programmes were visible for Ghanaians to see for themselves.
He mentioned that Mr. Dramani Mahama built the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (formerly known as the Ridge Hospital), University of Ghana, Legon Hospital, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Pokuase Interchange, Kasoa Interchange, Hospitals in Ga West among others, saying that many social and infrastructure development projects and programmes initiated by Mr. Dramani Mahama were scattered in the two hundred and seventy five (275) administrative districts in the sixteen (16) regions of the country.
He said every aspect of the Ghanaian was improved during the former President Dramani Mahama-led NDC administration, adding that former President Dramani Mahama has done a lot to develop the Ghanaian economy.
He described President Akufo-Addo and his NPP officials as liars, stressing that they came to lie and deceive Ghanaians by painting former President Dramani Mahama as non-performing and bad leader.
