Organisation shows transparency by ‘putting out the numbers’
Charter House, the organizers of the widely known Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has released the voting results of the just concluded 21st Edition of the annual music awards festival.
This comes on the back of the stern criticism that it has received after fans claimed that it 'allowed' Kuami Eugene to take its Vodafone Ghana Music Award's Artist of the Year prize ahead of Sarkodie.
It revealed that this edition's results were compiled by KPMG, an authoritative auditing firm who have become partners with the organizers of the awards, itself. It outlined the process that led to the victory of each awardee. KPMG explained that the voting process went through three phases.

"The following are the stages that were used in selecting a winner from each category."
"VGMA Board takes 30% of the total votes, VGMA Academy takes 30% and the general public takes the majority of 40% votes out of the total 100%."it revealed
