The authorities in South Africa are under increasing pressure to identify those responsible for the weekend massacre of 15 people in a pub in Soweto.

In Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, four other individuals were shot in a bar, but authorities do not believe the shootings are connected.

Police officials in the area are expected to submit a report regarding the incident to Police Minister Bheki Cele. The killers' identities and motivations are still unknown.

The residents of the area are clamoring for information on when arrests will be made and what the police will take to prevent it from happening again.

They say they are still in shock and have told the BBC they want answers. They blame law enforcement officers for not doing enough to keep ordinary people safe.
