The Executive Director, Mrs Obiri Yeboah for National Road Safety Authority has charged Ghana Police Service and Ahafo Regional Minister to roll out underage children in Okada, Pragia and Aboboyaa business.

The National Road Safety Authority (NRSC), says it will soon roll out a massive road safety campaign to reduce road accidents on motorists, pedestrians in the new Regions.

The Executive Director, Mrs Obiri Yeboah speaking at Goaso during her tour to the newly created regions, expressed worry over the increasing number of motorbikes, Pragia and tricycle (Aboboyaa) accidents cases in the Ahafo Region.

Mary Obiri Yeboah also appealed to Traditional leaders, Ghana Police Service and Ahafo Regional Minister to strengthen their collaboration to remove all underage involvement in Okada, Pragia and Aboboyaa business on the road.

The Deputy Ahafo Regional Police Commander, ACP  Andrews Boadu- Ekuma who bemoaned the sharply increasing number of accident cases on Ahafo assured the Director-General of removing the children on the road.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Yaw Boakye lauded the Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority for the move and pledged his office support to make the Ahafo accident free region.
