The Traditional ruler for Gomoa Traditional Kingdom as Kusae Edu Apagyahen in the Central Regíon Nana Okofo Ohene Ampofo I, has advocated for total peace and unity in Gomoa land.
According to him, Gomoa lacks social amenities such as roads, Hospitals, Potable drinking Water, electricity and others which is making lives unbearable in the area.
He noted that, long standing chieftaincy and Land litigations are the main reason why Gomoa is not developing because, there is no investor or government who will invest or develop a litigation prone area.
Nana Okofo Ohene Ampofo l claimed that, both Gomoa Akyampim traditional area and Gomoa Ajumako Traditional council are under Gomoa Traditional Kingdom.

On her part, the Newly coronated Queen-mother of the Gomoa Traditional Kingdom Nana Akonfua Assanewa Takyiwaa I charged the District Chief Executive officer Hon Basie Nkum and the Member of Parliament for Gomoa West Honourable Richard Gyan Mensah to fix their deplorable road.
She also advised parents to take good care of their children education because education bring success in life.
Lastly then Hon Joseph Cudjoe who double as Mp for Efia Constituency and minister for public enterprise came there to grace the occasion said we should not politicize our Chieftaincy because Chieftaincy is there before politics
He said the way youth of today insult the political leadership, you can't do same to our chiefs because if you do you will be sermon before them to be punished. So we should do our politics and allow our Chieftaincy to remain as such chiefs.
