According to the headmaster of the school, since the establishment of the school in November 11, 1987, the students had been performing very well in their academic education.

THE TEACHER of first public school in Maame Krobo in the Eastern Region called Soda Domeabra District Authority (D/A) Basic and Junior High School (JHS), Mr.Alfred Ampaw, has outlined the academic performing of the students in the school which he stated are very good and excellence.

 
According to the headmaster of the school, since the establishment of the school in November 11, 1987, the students had been performing very well in their academic education.
 
He added that since the old basic syllabus system which was form four has been charged in the new one which is JHS education, the performance of the students of the school in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) were very unprecedented.
"Our first batch of the JHS students of the school who had wrote the Basic Education Certificate Examination in 1990 have passed with the highest grade of aggregate six (6) mark, and was the first school in the Eastern Region during that time performed extraordinarily with award, which is over 35 years now and has produced a lot of  successful students," Mr Ampaw revealed.

Mr. Ampaw further explained, the school is on record of producing the best the students of the region in every education academic year.
The headmaster made this known when he was speaking to the gathering at the 35th anniversary celebration of Soda Domeabra District Authority (D/A) Basic and Junior High School held at Maame Krobo in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District.
Themed;"Building A Better Future Through Education, A Holistic Responsibility," the event has brought together chiefs, queen-mothers, politicians, religious leaders, old students and academia heroes of the area.
Mr Ampaw in his address indicated that the school was established on November 11, 1987 and was named after the then Kontinene named Mr. Tettey Enoch Soda who first settled at Maame Krobo.
Mr. Ampaw further explained, the school is on record to have taken the 2021 Eastern Regional Rankings of the BECE as the Test Case.
He pointed out that out of 1,387,000, the school placed 52nd representing the 3rd highest in the region.

For his part, the District Director of Education of Kwahu Afram Plains South, Mr. William Nyarko Frimpong, speaking on the theme of the anniversary called on parents to adopt the habit of regular visitation of their children's Schools to know thier academics and also checks their characters from the teachers in other to allow them control the students.
On his part, the Kwahu Afram Plains South, Districts Chief Executive DCE, Mr Evans Kyei Ntiri,used the occasion to advise and charged parent of taken their children's schools serious by investing in their them since it's the Best assets and a huge profit to benefit in future.
