We Are Making Nkrankwanta  Township Roads Smoothly  Accessible To Commuters Dormaa West DCE Assures Constituents
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for 
Dormaa West District of Bono Region, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong, has stated that the Assembly and Bono Regional Highways Authority are working assiduously to ensure the improvement of the road infrastructure networks within the district to boost socio-economic development and growth of the district.

 
According to him, plans were exhibited in his outfit to instruct the contractor ( Arcwick) to patch the numerous potholes in Nkrankwanta township to make the road smoothly accessible to commuters in the area 
 
The DCE stated that he has also instructed the contractor to remove the assess culvert that leads to the O.A Bus Station and replace it with a normal drain with a thick slab.

Mr. Kwadwo made this known to the journalists on Thursday, April 21, 2022, when together with the Bono Regional Highways Director including the Dormaa West Coordinating Director, Mr. Iddrisu Mahama, inspected the ongoing construction of Nkrankwanta township roads. 
The DCE assured the constituents of the provisions of their basic social and infrastructural amenities.
He added that innovative measures have been put in place to fix deplorable roads that connect the communities in the district to the district capital, Nkrankwanta.

He indicated that a security post will also be established in the area to nib the high level of robbery attacks on businessmen and women in the bud.
On education, Mr. Oppong said education is the bedrock of development, hence the need for parents to send their wards to school.

He added that his administration is not aimed at building more or new schools but rather poised at providing the existing ones with adequate furniture and teaching and learning materials for effective teaching and learning.
Mr. Oppong who was equally worried about the high level of teenage pregnancy in the district, underscored the need for parents to monitor the movements of their wards, especially at the peak of performance of funerals in the area.
Touching on agriculture, the DCE described farming as a lucrative venture. He appealed to the youth to embrace farming to enhance their standard of living.
The DCE seized the opportunity to appeal to the youth to venture into activities that will enhance their living conditions and families. 
For his part, Bono Regional Highways Director praised the DCE for his good works and his dedication to the improvement and transformation of the district and called for greater co-operation from all sections of the people to ensure more development during his second term.
