WE ARE TIRED OF CONSUMING DUST - TRADERS TO GOVERNMENT.

Second-hand clothes traders at Race cross are calling on Citi authorities and the government to come to aid their aid as dusty roads are suffocating them.

The public relations officer (PRO) for the second-hand clothing association Mr. Micheal Amponsah said they have started full operation today at the market but the dusty nature of the road will affect their businesses.

He is therefore calling for work on the road to resume since the dusty road is a big problem for them.

"The road is now emitting serious dust when vehicles make use of it and we are now in fear of our health.

Meanwhile, some traders have shared with the Media how stressful it is selling in the area.

Some say, instead of selling to gain some profit to cater for themselves, they rather get affected with some disease due to how dusty the area is.

"Our items get spoiled by dust day in day out and it is making selling difficult here at Race Cross some traders stressed".

They are therefore calling on the government for swift assistance to tackle the situation.
