The Paramount Chief of Goaso Traditional Council in Ahafo Region, Nana Akwasi Bosompra l, has urge residents in Goaso and Ahafo Region at Large to make themselves available for the 2021 Population and Housing Census.

Nana Akwasi Bosompra told Soireenews Sulley Dramani in an interview after Census enumerators counted him on Tuesday morning that though the questions were plenty and needed ample time but residents need to be patient and provide accurate answers to give the policymakers the true picture of their living conditions.

"As a new region, we need more development and Government and other policymakers to take decisions towards our growth.

Nana Akwasi Bosompra l also appealed to chiefs in the region to support the Ghana Statistical Service in the exercise to succeed.

Ahafo Region Director of Ghana Statistical Service, Mr Bernard Oduro, also said the outcome of the exercise will inform leaders of the country on the needed social amenities in each Community, districts and regions.

Mr Bernard Oduro, therefore, appealed to opinion leaders including the chiefs, Assembly members, Unit Committees, Municipal and District Chief Executives in the Ahafo Region to ensure everyone counted before the end of the Exercise.
