The tour which lasted for three days was aimed at inspecting the various developmental projects in those areas and also pay courtesy to the Traditional Councils.

The Bono East Regional Minister, Honourable Kwasi Adu Gyan, has engaged in a three-day familiarization visit to the far east of the Bono East Region.

On Monday 10th May 2021, Honourable Adu Gyan and his entourage visited Kajaki in the Sene East District and Kwame Danso in the Sene West District.

He inspected the 35-kilometre Atebubu -Kwame Danso road which has been under construction since President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo cut sod for its commencement on 8th September 2020.

Hon. Adu Gyan paid a courtesy call on the Nkomi, Dwan and Wiase Traditional Councils and thanked them for their constant fighting for developmental projects in their respective Traditional Areas.

The Regional Minister called for more support from the Traditional Councils as he seeks to win more developmental projects for the Bono East Region.

Hon. Adu Gyan visited and interacted with the staff of the Sene West and East District Assemblies as well as the Bassa Senior High School.

The familiarization tour continued on Tuesday 11th May 2021, where Hon. Adu Gyan and his team went to Yeji and Prang in the Pru East and West Districts respectively.

At Yeji, the Minister paid a courtesy call to the Paramount Chief of the Yeji Traditional Council and President of the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs, Pimampim Yaw Kagbrese V, he also visited the Konkoma Traditional Council, Cherepo and Kwadwo Baffour chiefs.

Hon. Gyan laid down his goals and plans for the Pru East District to the traditional councils where Nananom in turn blessed and gave him their support. They urged him to discharge his duties with the utmost professionalism that is demanded from his office.

Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan proceeded to Pru West where he visited the Paramount Chiefs of Abease, Obrempong Kru Takyi II and Prang Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III at their palaces. Day two of the familiarization tour came to an end when the Minister and his team visited Sheik Khalifa a renowned Islamic cleric at his residence where prayers were said for the Minister and the government

Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan and his team ended the tour on Wednesday 12th May 2021.

They paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Atebubu at his palace, went on to inspect work at the Amantin starch factory which is under the 1D1F policy and ended the familiarization tour at the palace of the Paramount Chief of Amantin Traditional Council
