According to the convener, Mr. David Wincott, who underscored the need for the summit which was to be inspired by a divine tendency to seek answers to questions related to Christianity in the business world.

He cited areas that are exceptions to business ventures about Christians and the principles that must guide a Christian in the business world.

Speaking about what necessitated the birth of the initiative, Mr. Wincott stated that the strong conviction to obtain answers to questions aimed at addressing the challenges of combining ministry with corporate work birthed the acronym CHRISTIANPRENUERS.

Mr. Wincott, the inventor of this Christian-based initiative noted that the coined acronym represents Christians in business or Christian entrepreneurs.

Referring to the 2021 Housing and Population census, Mr. Wincott indicated that about 71% of the Ghanaian population is affiliated with the Christian religion, which implied that being empowered as Christians to take charge in the business world will to a larger extent, right the wrongs in the society and economy today.

In conclusion, Mr. Wincott indicated that Christianpreneurs will not only be a summit, but a strong network that will be available to provide database, suggestions, and support to Christians in the business world when the need arises while wetting the appetite of participants for the 2023 edition.
