The Jaman North District Census officer, Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Twene has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to participate in the upcoming Population and Housing Census.

He is entreating all in the municipality to avail themselves of the upcoming national population and housing census.

Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Twene said the exercise is purely a national project devoid of partisanship, hence the need for all citizens to be actively involved.

According to him, the census is a priority for national development, a nonpartisan exercise that requires the participation of all Ghanaians. He expressed that it the exercise by GSS (Ghana Statistics Service) will generate data that will be used for decision-making, policy and planning for the development of the nation and its residents.

The District Field Supervisor in the Jaman North Mr Nyantakyi Boateng called on the public to assist the officers who will be coming to their various homes with the necessary information required to enhance the exercise.
