An Aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Agona East Constituency in the Central Region, Madam Hannah Asamoah has pledged to totally eradicate the high rate of youth unemployment in the area.

According to her who doubles as the NPP constituency chairperson, she is poised to lead the party to win the seat in the 2024 general elections in order to support the teeming unemployed youths in the area.
Mr.Asamoah gave this assurance when Agona East NPP Electoral Area Coordinators picked the nomination forms on behalf of her to contest the upcoming NPP Parliamentary candidate primaries.
Madam Asamoah appreciated the Executives for the confidence reposed in her to contest the parliamentary primaries with their full support.
"Am overwhelmed by this massive support and pledge to work assiduously to get what they want and with God on our side am going to win the Primaries and subsequently recapture the parliamentary seat for NPP.
"We are going to break the Eight with Agona East Parliamentary seat inclusive. This contest is never a do-or-die affair, it is a family contest. We are seeking a credible candidate to win the seat back for the NPP, so we the aspirants need to carry ourselves decently in our campaigns during and after the primaries.
"With one accord in unity the NPP will be more attractive to the masses towards breaking the Eight agenda. My massage is simple, NPP will recapture the Agona East parliamentary seat whoever wins the primaries, as you can see, the delegates have expressed high hopes in me to recapture the seat. I have accepted the challenge and will do everything within my means to win both the primaries and general elections," Madam Hannah Asamoah assured
In an interview with some coordinators and Polling Station officers in the Agona East Constituency, they noted that they declared their support for Madam Hannah because she has lead the party as a chairperson for one  year which with her effort has paved way for  most of the youths to get opportunities in the employment sectors.
According to them, through her leadership era Agona East now has many school projects, Chip Compounds and other infrastructural projects in Agona East hence their support to her.
Hundreds of NPP Electoral Area Coordinators and Polling Station Executives on Tuesday defied heavy rainfall to pick up forms at the party's constituency office at Agona Duakwa for Madam Hannah Asamoah to contest the Agona East Parliamentary primaries.
They charged crowds expressed the hope that she would be the best to represent the party as its Parliamentary candidate for the 2024 general Elections.
Led by Mr. Micheal Payne, Electoral Area Coordinator for Mensakrom, Mr. Ben. Afful Nantifa, Mr. Christopher Afful, Agona Duabone, and Mr. Christian Otchere, Agona Nkran, they marched through most of the communities in the constituency to declare their unflinching support for Madam Hannah Asamoah who doubles as the Agona East Constituency Chairperson.
After making payment for the forms, the Chairman of the Election Committee, Nana Kojo Frimpong admonished the aspirant against unhealthy campaigns that would create confusion in the NPP.
"Tell your aspirant and her team to run clean campaign devoid of insults and personal attacks. We are one family with a common goal to recapture the Agona East Parliamentary seat. Let come together to break the Eight with our Parliamentary seat inclusive.
"Carry out your campaign with unity in your mind knowing exactly what NPP is looking for in Agona East," Nana Kojo Frimpong noted.
Mr. Micheal Payne assured the committee that the message would be communicated to the aspirant noting that her team would work according to the rules and regulations governing the forthcoming parliamentary primaries in the constituency.
It will be recalled that the NPP opened nominations for potential candidates in the Ophan Constituencies on Tuesday June 11, 2023.
