Local authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo say a landslide has killed two persons and injured nine others.

The mayor of Bukavu has promised an investigation into what happened, but has also issued a warning to others living in "unsuitable locations nearby [who are] subject to the same kind of tragedy to evacuate to escape the worst."
