Vice President of the Bono regional branch of Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr Paul Frimpong has advised residents in the region to accept the recorded cases of the pandemic and the need to observe all the safety protocols of the coronavirus.

He noted with regret that some residents still don’t believe in the caution by health personnel about the presence of the pandemic in the region and thus find it difficult to observe the protocols.

Dr Frimpong further advised Ghanaians not to take things for granted as the pandemic was claiming many lives, including even health personnel.

"The fight against the disease can be won only when everyone plays his or her quota with the realization that the disease is not meant only for some people in a particular area and that anyone can contract it," the GMA vice president said.
