Central Region: Our Chip compound has now been transformed into a snake-hatching place. 

Angry residents of Gomoa Mpota, in the Gomoa West district central region, have petitioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to direct the member of parliament for the area, Honorable. Naana Ayiah, to finish their Abounded chip compound project. 

Residents claim that because of the popularity of the chip complex, they are now using the information center as a health clinic, which is highly concerning. 

They went on to say that while the member of parliament and district chief executive for Gomoa west are aware of their difficulties, they had turned their backs on them. 

They are pleading with non-governmental organizations to help them finish the Abounded chip compound if the government fails to do so.

Meanwhile, Mr. Daniel Adua, the Mpota community's general secretary, said they had complained to Hounrable Naana Ayiah, a member of parliament, but she had yet to respond. 

He is now appealing to individuals to come to their aid to complete the Abounded chip compound since a member of parliament is unwilling to assist them and his people, and it is humiliating to utilize an information center as a chip compound in modern Ghana, he stated.
