Residents of Adamorobe in the Akuapem South Municipality of the Eastern Region have staged a massive protest over the deteriorated state of their roads.

The residents in their protest on Thursday, March 4th, 2021, said the roads that link Adamorobe Community, Oyibi and Aburi, are totally devastated making it distress to travel.

The residents, led by the Gyaasehene Nana Kwame Ayeh, stated that the community lacks basic amenities such as good roads, water, health facilities, public toilet facilities among other essential infrastructures.

Speaking with SN24 News, the residents said they were not going to vote in subsequent Ghana’s general elections if their roads were not fixed.

The demonstrators displayed placards with inscriptions such as “NO Road NO Vote in 2024, Where is our MP, Bad Roads Don’t need Votes” We are also Ghanaians" among others to express their grievances.
