Honourable Samuel Abdulai Jinapor, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources met all agencies under his ministry at the Eastern Region Coordinating Council to seek their support and discuss possible ways to run effective and efficient systems that will improve the lives of the people.

Minister for Lands and Natural Resources engages with house of Chiefs

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abdulai Jinapor is touring the Eastern Region to continue his engagements on matters of national interests and development and especially to access the damages of the menace of illegal mining in most part of the region.

The tour, which began today, May 27, 2021, included meeting the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs to seek the support of Nananom in the fight against illegal mining that has destroyed thousands of hectares of lands and water bodies.

Honourable Samuel Abdulai Jinapor also met all agencies under his ministry at the Eastern Region Coordinating Council to seek their support and discuss possible ways to run effective and efficient systems that will improve the lives of the people.

The land and natural resources minister also made a stop at Atikwatiakwaso, to attend a ceremony by Richie Plantations.

The government of Ghana under the auspices of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources presented 4 Million Hybrid Oil Palm Seedlings in support of the Green Ghana project scheduled for June 11, 2021.
