Bawumia Must Be Allowed  To Succeed Akufo-Addo To Break The Eight-Akua Donkor Tells NPP
The Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has made an emphatic statement that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) must allow Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after office, if the NPP wanted to break the eight.
She said, per tradition, an assistant succeeds the boss, and so must be applied to the Npp flagbearer race.
According to her, the Vice President Dr. Bawumia has the will-power and the strength to succeed Nana Addo and perhaps to take the party to the promise.
"The NPP should shame the critics by allowing Dr. Bawumia succeed Nana Addo after leaving office. I think it will help them, if indeed they want to break the eight", she said.
Moreover, she noted that, Alan Kyeremateng must understand this simple process to allow peace prevail in the party.
"Alan Kyeremateng can be selected as the running mate to Dr. Bawumia, it will be helpful, I think this will help their party".
