Transfer: Former Barcelona Star Set To Join Messi At Inter Miami
The move by Lionel Messi to Inter Miami could be seen as significant for a number of reasons, and it appears that a second ex-Barcelona star might well be on the way to MLS if rumours are proved correct

Ex-Barcelona defender, Jordi Alba could be set to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
But the Major League Soccer (MLS) club is facing competition from Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Alba has reached an agreement to end his contract with Barca one year early.
And the 34-year-old is expected to make a decision on his future after this week’s UEFA Nations League finals in the Netherlands.
Messi announced he would join Inter Miami last week, and since then, Barca midfielder Sergio Busquets has also held talks with the MLS side.
Alba is the latest Europe-based player to be approached by the South Florida team.
He too has a good few seasons left in the tank, and were he to sign – maybe even followed by Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez at a later date – Inter Miami would have to be considered as MLS favourites next season which, given how poor they’ve been of late (bottom of the Eastern Conference per Sky Sports) is a complete turnaround in fortune.
