Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala celebrated in style by taking off her shirt after netting the Super Falcons' third goal in the game against Australia at the FIFA Women's World Cup.

The Barcelona forward pounced on a mistake by the Australia defence before slotting home for her side's third as Nigeria cruised to victory in their second game.

Oshoala had come of the bench moments before giving her side the two-goal cushion to complete a remarkable comeback.

In a video shared on social media, on Thursday, July 27, 2023, Oshoala is seen enjoying the moment before getting a yellow card for taking off her shirt.

Australia took the lead at the stroke of half-time through Emily van Egmond but Nigeria responded immediately through Uchenna Kanu.

The Super Falcons then took the lead after break after Osinachi Ohale headed home before second-half substitute Oshoala put the icing on the cake.

Deep in stoppage time, Australia pulled one back through Alana Kennedy.

Nigeria will join Canada at the top of Group B with four points and could seal progress to the next stage if they beat Ireland in their final game.
