Bayern Munich are set to discharge several players ahead of next season’s campaign.

Some of the players included in the drop-out list are Bouna Sarr, Mickaël Cuisance, Adrian Fein, and Joshua Zirkzee.

As Julian Nagelsmann takes the helm of affairs from Hansi Flick, the Bayern taskmaster will, in turn, take over as the new head coach of the Germany National Team after the upcoming European Championship and goalkeeping legend Oliver Kahn succeeds the outgoing Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as chairman.

The Bavarians are set to undergo a fresh start from next season’s campaign and so most players during the watch of Hansi Flick would have to be unladen from the FCB squad next season.

21-year-old Cuisance spent last season on loan with Marseille and while he did play 27 times in all competitions for the Ligue 1 club, it appears that he failed to do enough to convince the Bayern hierarchy that he is worth keeping in the first-team line-up.

Adrian Fein the erstwhile Germany U-21 youngster spent last season on loan with Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven. Ultimately, he failed to make an impression in Holland as he played just ten league games last season, scoring one goal.

After struggling for first-team action with Bayern in the first half of the past season, Joshua Zirkzee was allowed to spend the season half of the season on loan with Parma in Serie A.

The Dutch international never managed to become a first-team regular for Bayern after being promoted to the first-team in 2019 so it comes as no surprise that the club may now be looking to cut ties with him.

The Bavarians have planned a comprehensive overhaul of their playing squad this season as they try to rebuild a team that won the Champions League in 2019/20.

Bayern has brought in Omar Richards and Dayot Upamecano from Reading and RB Leipzig respectively in replacement of David Alaba and Jerome Boateng as they leave FCB on free transfers.
