The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Abura Asebu Kwamankese District Assembly in the Central Region, Mr Willievans Obiri Awua, has advised parents and guardians to encourage their wards to love schooling at all time since education has become the foundation for greatness.
The DCE made the call when he was speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com when he visited some schools on Wednesday January 11, 2023 within his district to welcome students as part of My First Day At School.
Some educational items such as books, pencils sharpeners, erasers drinks and Biscuits were given to the students to help boost their confidence for schooling.
The the headmistress of Bosomi D.A Basic school Mrs Dugbatsie on behalf of the students and the teaching staff appreciated the kind gestures of the Assembly and the Education Directorate.
