ASHANTI REGION: FIRE RAZED DOWN 9 ROOMS, ONE PERSON FEARED DEAD.
One person has been found dead after a fire destroyed nine bedrooms at Kronum in the Ashanti Region, on Monday, January 10.
The inferno is believed to have been started by an electric wire in one of the rooms.
The Police and fire service who rushed to the scene to help put out the fire discovered the charred remains of the victim.
Speaking to an eyewitness Madam Adwoa Agyapomaa, she said, "I saw smoke coming from one of the rooms at 5:30 pm and suddenly it ignited the flame".
The deceased is identified as opening Kwadwo Asare
The body is currently at Kokomo ankle mortuary for preservation.
