According to the Ministry, this is important since tidal waves and rising sea levels continue to devastate the properties of fishermen at sea and on the land.
In recent years, tidal waves have wreaked havoc on fishermen and communities along with Ghana's coastal provinces.
The disaster has wreaked havoc on the fishermen's properties, including their homes, canoes, and other belongings.
"Fishers are therefore urged to observe and monitor the sea before going on a fishing expedition," Michael Arthur Dadzie, the Executive Director of the Fisheries Commission, said in a statement. "All canoes along the shore should be pulled to safer places," she said.
