HINKAID Foundation-Ghana donates to World of Friends Children's Home

A Non-Profit Organisation, ThinkAid Foundation base in Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region has donated assorted food items to the world of Friends Orphanage Home in Berekum.

The items which include rice, cooking oil, tissue papers, soaps, detergents, sardines amongst others were presented to the home to help boost the welfare of the children.

Speaking to the media after the donation,  the CEO of ThinkAid Foundation, Kofi Adane expressed his readiness to offer his support to society through the foundation.

He said, the foundation aims to support the less privileged in rural and deprived communities in the field of health, education, accommodation, poverty, job training, imprisonment, physical and mental disabilities and is not going to be reluctant on it.

Mr Kofi Adane said, the donation to the children's home is one of the charitable programs of ThinkAid and it will not be the last.

According to him, even though the foundation is based in Berekum and has been supporting the vulnerable in the area, it will soon extend aid to other towns apart from Berekum.

Among some of the officers of ThinkAid Foundation who made the donation were Rita-Secretary, Ellen Owusu Yeboah-Welfare, Frank Amponsah-Finance Manager and Samuel Nsowa-Head of IT.

The Caretaker of World of Friends Children's Home, Madam Serwaa Akoto thanked ThinkAid Foundation for their timely intervention to support them at the time they needed help most.

She however called for more support from individuals and other organizations to come to their aid.
