The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Honourable Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui has responded to an urgent request from the management of Bontrase Secondary Technical School by providing thirty (30) pieces of dual classroom desks and pledged her continuous support to help improve their educational and learning conditions.

The donation was done on April 29, 2021 on behalf of the Member of Parliament by Mr. Abekah Amissah, the Constituency Deputy Treasurer.

In attendance were Abrahene Matthew, Comrade Joojo Acquah, Ward Coordinator Yesu and Hon. Nathaniel Aidoo, the Assembly Member for the area.

The request was made to the Member of Parliament earlier this month by the school during her working visit  to various schools across the Constituency.

The headmaster of the school, Mr. Benjamin Ohene Nyarko expressed his profound gratitude to the Hon. MP for the support and quick response, and assured her the dual desks will be put to good use.

In his remarks, Mr. Abekah Amissah reiterated the MP's unbroken resolve to see a complete augmentation of the conditions of learning, especially regarding infrastructure, learning environments and tools throughout out the constituency.

This donation falls as part of her Care for Community initiative to improve upon educational facilities in the Awutu Senya West Constituency.

Bontrase Secondary Technical School is a community day school which was started by the community during former MP, Hon. Hanna Tetteh's.

It was later on absorbed by government, yet has not seen any significant improvement in infrastructure and facilities over  the past  four years.
