The Assin Foso Municipal Director of Health, Mr. Benjamin Amoah disclosed that the health directorate has recorded cases of the new H3N2 virus but the situation is under control.

Against this background, he urged the citizenry not to panic but rather assist the health service personnel by continually wearing their face mask to protect themselves because the H3N2v is an airborne disease...

He made this comment after a stakeholder meeting with Covid-19 Response and Capacity Building team at Assin Fosu Municipal Health Directorate Conference Hall.

Emphasizing on Covid- 19 vaccination, Mr. Amoako said over 51,695 doses of the Covid 19 vaccines have been administered so far in the Assim Foso municipality of the Central Region.
