Lilwin has maintained that he has never made fun of the actress, despite rumors to the contrary appearing on internet forums and broadcast on radio and TV.
He claims that the story that he insulted Martha Ankomah is untrue and that the reporters may have made a serious error.
Lilwin contends that rather than the on-screen actress, an up-and-coming Kumawood actress was the target of insults and the use of profanity.

Ghanaian blogger, vlogger, and social media star Shadrack Amanoo Crabbe shared the news on Twitter.
He wrote: “They say Kojo Nkansah Lilwin said he was referring to a Kumasi upcoming actress named Martha Ankonasm, not Martha Ankomah…sorrrrmi ya!” he wrote.
