Reigning artiste of the year, Kidi was given a presidential welcome on his return to his alma mater, Accra Academy as he donates to the school’s National Science and Maths Quiz team.
Dennis Nana Dwamena popularly known as KiDi is a proud “Bleoobi” and today’s event is a testament to his love for the school and how much he is loved by the school and Ghanaians as a whole.
As part of his thank-you tour for winning the ultimate award at the just ended VGMA’s, KiDi who is a brand ambassador of Fidelity Bank, Samsung and KFC decided to team up with these brands to donate to the school’s National Science and Maths club and the welcome he was given was exceptional.
Every single student was out to meet their Superstar alumni and VGMA Artiste of The Year as they cheer him on right from the streets to the school.
The VGMA Artiste of the Year was welcomed to the grounds of the school with students and staff lining up to meet him.
The cadets of the school were tasked to escort his car and provide personal security to the ‘Golden Boy.”
KiDi is a former student of Accra Academy thus his return to the school was more melancholy and a mixture of sadness and happiness.
Teachers and students are seen shouting his name and outdoing each other to catch his attention.
