Former Joynews and Joy FM reporter, Komla Adom, who left the Multimedia Group Limited on June 29, 2020, has joined Media General.

He completes his switch to the Kanda-based media organization as an anchor and producer for TV3 and 3FM after devoting his time and energy to the Multimedia Group over the past five years. 

The young and savvy journalist, who is also a producer and a news anchor, was taken down off Television earlier in March over the company's displeasure on his use of fashion rings. This inevitably led to his resignation from The Multimedia Group. 

Until his resignation, Komla Adom was the host of Joy FM’s flagship morning news at six am and Sunday edition. He will now begin his new journey at TV3 and 3FM officially next week.

Komla Adom personally announced the news himself on his Facebook page. The Ghana Institute of Journalism trained journalist could not hide his excitement and he encouraged his fans to never give up. He wrote:

"New Chapter. New Beginning. Same Grace. Thank you all for your support over the years. I don’t take it for granted. Let’s win here too. #MediaGeneral #TV3 #3fm"

He now joins former Multimedia journalist and presenter MzGee who also switched to Media General last year.
