The Akyem Abuakwa North Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) chairman, Honourable Yaw Kissi Atua has urged the public to support the police to successfully fight robbery incidents in the community.

Speaking to Soireenews, Chairman Yaw Kissi stated that police officers at Abuakwa North put their life's on the line each and every day in the name of protecting and serving the community to ensure effective planning and sustainable success hence the need for the public to maximise support towards the Security Service to successfully execute their mandates.

"The recent armed robbery cases in the constituency is becoming too much.  A few weeks ago at Akyem Osiem Zongo, a boy was shot and what I am hearing today too at Atiwa bank is unfortunate and outrageous. We have to support the police day and night with information, he said.
