MP for Yendi Donates Items to School's, As Classes Resumes
MP makes donation as he holds a school uniform

The Member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has donated educational items to schools in the constituency.

Teaching and learning will commence today, Tuesday, after a long break due to the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic.

The items distributed include uniforms totalling 1000 pieces and other Covid-19 materials such as hand sanitisers and nose masks. 

Among other things, he added an undisclosed amount, drinks and biscuits to the various schools in the Constituency schools.

He was accompanied to the schools by officials from the Municipal Ghana Education Service. 

In his address during his visit in the wake of the rising Covid-19 cases, Alhaji Farouk mentioned the need for schools to be resourced with the materials to protect the students.

According to him, the uniforms were to target vulnerable students before advising all the students to learn hard to live up to the expectations of their parents.

Alhaji Farouk assured his commitment to building a New Yendi City.
