Curvy Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay, has revealed that the natural hips she flaunts so proudly now used to embarrass her while she was growing up.

The Rufftown Records artiste claimed that she had the hips while growing up, and it attracted grown men who only wanted to "chop her at" a very young age.

 

 

This made her very insecure while growing up, she recalled. The award-winning musician also said that her shape attracted a lot of cyberbullies since getting into the entertainment arena.

But all the experiences have gone on to make her stronger, as she now considers her hips as one of her greatest strengths.

“Growing up, one of my insecurities was my hips. At the age of 11, I already had wide hips. Elderly men would always try to get at me. When I go somewhere with my mom, people would stare and say how come a small girl like you have such wide hips. It used to be one of my insecurities," she said.

"Now, it is actually one of my securities"

Wendy Shay, who is out with a new song titled ‘Emergency’ which features Bosom Pyong. She, therefore, encouraged her fans to always turn their weaknesses into strengths as it can serve to protect them in the future

She is currently celebrating two years in the music scene while promoting the new single.
