The Krowor Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Benjamin Kwame Danso has called for peace, unity and hard working to help retail the seat for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

He, therefore, urged the few members, sympathisers and supporters of the party to bury their differences and join forces with the constituency executives and the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Krowor,  Madam Agnes Naa Momo Lartey to work hard to retain the Krowor constituency parliamentary seat for the NDC.

Dr. Danso made the call when he was addressing the rank and file of the NDC during the Thanksgiving service held on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the St. Francis Preparation School in Nungua.

The event was hosted by the MP and the Krowor constituency executives to give praise and honour God for protecting the lives of the  delegates, members and supporters of the party for holding the successful presidential and parliamentary  primaries held on Saturday 13, 2023.

The service was attended by the Greater Regional NDC executives led by the Regional Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Founder's and General Overseer of Believers` House of Worship International, Rev. Abraham Lamptey and the former aspiring candidate of Krowor Constituency, Mr. Daniel Alabi, popularly known at Nungua as Blowman.
The Krowor Member of Parliament for Krowor,  Madam Agnes Naa Momo Lartey read the Bible, urging the supporters and members of the party to love one another to move forward to ensure victory for her and former President John Dramani Mahama.
Sounding religious, the MP thanked the delegates, supporters, members and the constituency for voting massively for her to win the parliamentary primaries, saying that she is confident to work hard to retain the seat for the NDC.

The Founder's and General Overseer of Believers` House of Worship International, Rev. Abraham Lamptey prayed for the legislator for God's wisdom and sacrifice to the people.

Speaking further the Krowor Constituency Chairman thanked almighty God for protection of the lives of the rank and file of the party in the area saying that we God that nothing has gone wrong before, during and after the event which saw the reelection of the incumbent MP as parliamentary candidate to lead the party in the 2024 general election.

"We would continue to praise and honour the God till the victory in the 2024 showdown," the chairman stressed.
For his part, Mr Daniel Alabi who contested the just ended parliamentary primaries and lost pledged his support for the party to work with the MP to win the seat.
" I am going to give all my support to the MP to ensure we win more votes for her and flagbearer of the NDC and former President Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general elections.
"I am telling you that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) wants to break the eight circle jinx so let us all wake up and stop the NPP to break the eight. We can stop the NPP to break the eight when we all come together to work hard to ensure the victory for former President Dramani Mahama and the MP," Mr Alabi stressed.
