NDC Akwatia Parliamentary Hopeful,Erasmus Koney Ali Congratulates Muslims On Eid Ul-Adha Occasion

He has, therefore, called with a call on delegates and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Muslim delegates to vote massively for him to win the upcoming NDC parliamentary primary in Akwatia and lead the party to retain the seat in the 2024 general elections.

An aspiring parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Akwatia Constituency of the Eastern Region, Mr. Erasmus Koney Ali,has extended warm greetings to all Muslims as the world celebrates Eid Ul-Adha today, Wednesday June 28, 2023.

He has, therefore, called with a call on delegates and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Muslim delegates to vote massively for him to win the upcoming NDC parliamentary primary in Akwatia and lead the party to retain the seat in the 2024 general elections.
 
"I am extending my  warmest wishes to Muslims across the country and around the world especially those who are in Akwatia celebrating Eid al-Adha at this momentous hour," he added.

Consequently, the Akwatia Darling Boy stressed that: "I trumpet my warmest congratulatory message to Hon. Gyekye Quayson and the entire file and rank of the NDC for emerging victorious from yesterday's by- election in Assin North."
According to Mr. Koney who is Muslim by faith,the celebration of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim should impact Ghanaians to do same for the progress and prosperity of the country.
He added that the special holiday is a time to honor the sacrifice, resolve, and commitment to Allah demonstrated by His Holiness, Prophet Muhammed.

"It marks the end of the pilgrimage of Hajj performed each year by millions of Muslims who journey from all corners of the world to Mecca as a testament to their faith. It is also a celebration of the ways faith can transcend any differences or boundaries and unite us under the banners of fellowship and love.
"During this time, Muslims from all walks of life join their neighbors and friends at their *local mosques, community centers, and homes to pray, give alms, exchange gifts, and recommit to helping others*

'As we mark Eid al-Adha this year, let us be reminded of the ordinary Ghanaian who is spending this sacred holiday separated from his family, unsure of his future, but still hoping for a brighter tomorrow because of the pains in our economy," he noted.
As a stalwart who has walked through the bridges of politics in Akwatia and Eastern Region at large, he noted that he remained resolute and committed to the development of Akwatia in all spheres as your parliamentary candidate hopeful. 
He reiterated the need to welcoming all souls with empathy and an open heart from the destitute who flees home and to the many thousands of Youth who leaves home in search of a better life because of the hash and suicidal economic conditions in the country more especially in Akwatia. 
He stressed that "May the spirits of community, togetherness, principled service, and compassionate generosity bring good tidings to those who believes in putting people first in their live endeavors in celebrating this year's  Eid al-Adha."
