No one has control over the current economic crisis- National Communication Director

National deputy communication director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Asante Yeboah has said no country in this current world has total control over the economic woes.

In this situation Ghana as a country cannot be ruled out due to the heat COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war has brought us saying we have no other alternative except to resort to the international monetary relief fund in addition to our homegrown solutions to subdue the hardship in the country.

He also stated during an interview on Okyeame Radio with Deetu Kwadwo Amofa that when the COVID was suppressed the country's economy began to boost or bounce back until Russia invaded Ukraine to mess up things for the entire universe where America, Canada, the UK, Spain, Germany, and the likes are all struggling to revive their economy so it's not the making of president Akufo Addo, nobody should blame him for anything.

Asante Yeboah however indicated that the government will be putting the interest of the citizenry into consideration before accepting any conditionality by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
