Philanthropist  Builds GH₵  700,000 Theatre For Bibiani Municipal Hospital

The residents were in the healthcare providing facility to witness the official commissioning of the state-of-the-art theatre complex constructed by a philanthropist, Mr. Francis Gyapong Manu, popularly known as Akwasi Diaso at the cost of seven hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵ 700,000).

Hundreds of residents including traditional office holders and opinion leaders of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai in the Western North Region have converged at the premises of Bibiani Government Hospital.
The residents were in the healthcare providing facility to witness the official commissioning of the state-of-the-art theatre complex constructed by a philanthropist, Mr. Francis Gyapong Manu, popularly known as Akwasi Diaso at the cost of seven hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵ 700,000).
Speaking in an interview with journalists at the commissioning of the facility, Mr Gyapong Manu disclosed his motivation behind this kind gesture and further called on other affluent individuals and organisations to emulate him.
In other department of the programme, an appeal was made to the gathering to support the construction of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU) for the hospital. 
 Mr. Kwabena Obeng(K.O) offered to single-handedly put up a storey Intensive Care Unit (ICU) facility at eight hundred thousand cedis (GH₵ 800,000) for the hospital pro bono.
According to him, he is doing so to encourage others to support the development of Bibiani.
He further revealed why he pledged to fund the construction of ICU for the Bibiani Municipal Government Hospital.
