Paris Saint-Germain have rejected an earlier £137m bid sent by Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe according to reports.

The Parisians have now confirmed that the Frenchman wants to leave the club and are demanding £180m for their goal machine.

The ex-Monaco ace future in Parc des Princes has been in the air ever since the arrival of Messi earlier this month.

PSG sporting director Leonardo confirms the first bid sent by the Whites was rejected by the club explaining that although Mbappe wants to leave, PSG cannot hold him down but the right business needs to be done.

“It seems like Real Madrid is using a strategy to try to get a NO from us, to show that they have tried everything and to wait for a year to get Mbappe for free.

"Kylian always promised he wouldn’t leave for free.

"Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid and we will not hold him back.

"We said NO to Madrid's first offer, but if our conditions are met, we'll see," Leonardo told RMC.

Mbappe's current contract with the Ligue 1 champions is set to expire next summer.

The 22-year-old World cup winner recently rejected PSG's offer of a new contract deal.

"We made two important offers to Mbappe: one for the top players in the squad two months ago and one above these players very recently.

"We want to prove to him that he is an important player, at the center of the project, but not above the project.” PSG sporting director Leonardo added.
