Ras Nene: "I started drinking and smoking at age 8"

Ras Nene, a sketch creator and actor in Kumawood, has revealed details about his past as he reveals that he began smoking at the age of eight.

Ras Nene, better known as Dr. Likee, recently spoke with Delay about his background. He claimed that after starting to smoke at a young age, he eventually developed a successful company selling drugs.

Ras Nene revealed that while he was a child, he resided with his mother's sister, who had a bar in Tafo, one of the well-known settlements in Kumasi.

He disclosed that his aunt used to leave her store, where she sold smokes and alcoholic beverages, to perform errands. Ras Nene acknowledged that he began smoking and drinking after observing the adults in the shop.

"When I was younger, I was a bartender. I occasionally take the final piece from the floor and hide to smoke it after patrons arrive at the bar and are finished smoking. That was the beginning of it all.

Later, I ran up another obstinate youngster who was just like me; he introduced me to marijuana use. Delay was informed by Dr. Likee (Ras Nene).

He continued, "My mother cautioned and counseled me to stop smoking on numerous times, but I never heeded her.

"I developed stubbornness because I was able to supplement my income by selling scraps, and smoking made matters worse.

My mother would repeatedly try to counsel me, but I would not pay attention. Eventually, a friend introduced me to wee, he said to Delay.
