A RETIRED Auditor, Jackson Awuku aka Doctor has lambasted the Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia for his current comment he made that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) voted for him to win the presidential election because he is a Moslem.

"Dr Bawumia was heard saying NPP voted for him because he is a Moslem if that is true then it is very bad for NPP leaving competency aside and embracing religion? I am a Christian and l love Moslems but when it comes to politics l don't consider Christianity but competency. 
That was why I am against the religious leaders who took appointment for the controversial cathedral and also against the building of that cathedral even though I am a Christian.
"I am an Akan from Akwapim just about 5 miles to President Akuffo Addo's father's hometown but I chose competency over tribal politics therefore support Ex President John Dramani Mahama," Mr Jackson Awuku made the assertion in news item captured by Soireenews.com.
 
He argued that it is unfortunate that some Ghanians have turned Ghana politics into religion, tribal and whom you know politics.
But, according to him, that is dangerous for Ghana, because any country that embraces religious, tribal and whom you know politics can't develop. 
"So that type of Christian, Moslem, traditional, Akan, Ewe, northern, whom you know others politics must stop if indeed Ghanaians want Ghana to develop.  Else Ghana would seek n seek till thy kingdom come," Jackson Awuku noted.
 
He indicated that nation building is about competency, incorruptible, honesty faithfulness, infrastructure developing of it kinds but not that whom you know, religious and tribal type of politics which is eating into our politics currently to the extent that,
