THE PARLIAMENTARY candidate hopeful for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Honourable Richard Appiah Kubi has successfully passed through vetting process.
He has been considered as the best for the party in that Constituency.
He however picked number 2 on the balloting indicating his readiness to continue to make the Constituency a better place to stay for the people of Kwabre South.
He said the number 2 also indicates his 2nd victory because he was on the number 2 position during Constituency election and he won peacefully.
According to his followers and the Constituency delegates, they are fully behind him and have endorsed him already as the ideal candidate in Afigya Kwabre South in the upcoming NPP primaries even before the vetting.
In an interview after the vetting, Hon. Appiah Richard Kubi (ARK) described his support for the constituent and Constituency unmatched and stressed that he has contributed to the NPP during the previous elections and other activities within the area.
He highlighted his significant leadership contributions to the party and his people.
According to him, he supported the party during its registration exercise by providing needed resources such as financial support, food,and organizing youth groups among other things.
Throughout the 2020 campaign period,he remained steadfastly involved, tirelessly moving from house to house to campaign and offering substantial resources.
Understanding the importance of accountability to the people,especially during his turn as the assembly member for Buoho Electoral Area, he has supported infrastructural developments, assisting in securing of job opportunities and academic opportunities for the people and also his chance as a staff at the FSHS secretariat has paved way to secure much scholarships to many youths in the Constituency.
Honourable ARK has proven himself to be a dedicated and resourceful supporter of the NPP party,actively contributing to its success during elections and working tirelessly for the betterment of the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency.
He appealed to the delegates to vote for him as Afigya Kwabre South Parliamentary candidate to continue his good leadership.
