Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia, has announced the death of her grandmother today, the 4th of June, 2020.

The slay queen was visibly in a state of mourning as she declared that she has lost her 'No 1 cheerleader' on her Instagram page. She posted a video to celebrate her grandmother's passing in what she claims was a life well-lived.

The 'WMT' dissmaker could be heard in the video eulogizing her grandmother, she captioned the video "THE ORIGINAL QUEEN; Sadly enough, the most painful goodbye! My Number 1 Cheerleader ???? I just lost you #RIP.”

Her friends and fans on social media platforms have sent their condolences to the rapper. Her celebrity colleagues also expressed their heartfelt pain on her behalf; individuals like Nikki Samonas, Afia Schwarzenegger, Comedian Warris amongst others.

It would be recalled that Sista Afia has been the subject of intense criticism from industry players due to her role in the beef that swept along female rappers in the Ghanaian music industry. 

Apparently everyone put the music business behind to show sympathy, signifying that Ghanaian celebrities know when to put beefs aside to come together as one.
