South Africans are congratulating DJ Black Coffee on his first Grammy win, which he received on Sunday.
His Subconsciously record took home the award for best dance/electronic music album.
Black Coffee dedicated his victory to the next generation of African artists.
"African children who are watching may believe they have no hope of appearing on a global stage like this.
" "I just want to tell them it's possible," he added.
